About the Course

This qualification is designed to reflect the job role of entry level employees working in the financial services industry performing duties relating to administration, accounts and customer service roles in banking, credit management, insurance, and retail financial services. The qualification is also suited to employees of small business entities performing a range of duties which may include accounts and bookkeeping.

The learner will gain practical “work ready skills” using the latest office, accounting, and bookkeeping software (including MS Office, MYOB and XERO) in a paperless cloud-based environment.

This course can be completed in a variety of delivery modes, including: online/flexible/self-paced, traineeship or as part of a school-based VET program. All modes of delivery are fully supported by email or zoom.

To complete this course, you will need a minimum 495 hours.

Career Pathways Upon completion of your Certificate III in Financial Services you will find opportunities in a variety of jobs within the Financial Services industry. These include though are not limited to positions such as accounts clerk, bookkeeper, office administrator or office manager of a small business. This qualification provides a direct pathway and transitions into the Certificate IV in Financial Services.
